RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day operations of all City social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Develop, schedule, and monitor engaging content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and communication goals.
- Create and edit multimedia content, including graphics, photos, and videos, for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Manage and maintain internal and external newsletters, including content planning, editing, and timely distribution.
- Create and implement paid digital advertising strategies across various platforms.
- Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Attend events, programs, and meetings as needed to capture photos, videos, and other media content for use in social media promotion and engagement, including live coverage of City-sponsored activities.
- Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices to identify new opportunities for engagement.
- Collaborate with team members on cross-department projects and initiatives.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES .
M I NIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in communications, marketing, journalism, English or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is required. Requires a valid Texas driver's license.
