What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator position at City of Americus?
The purpose of the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator classification within the Shop department is to oversee operations and acquire and maintain Fleet Management's parts inventory.

- Provides customer service to all staff and employees; answers phone and troubleshoots issues.
- Acquires and maintains parts and fuel for inventory.
- Opens, closes, and posts parts to work orders.
- Requisitions purchase orders and pays vendor invoices.
- Oversees maintenance at fuel sites; issues fuel keys as needed.
- Oversees customer billing.
- Updates and replaces hardware components of fuel system.
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Education: Requires an associate degree or specialized courses/training equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college in business, automotive technology, or closely related field.
Experience: Requires one year of experience in automotive technology, fleet management or closely related experience.
Required Certifications and Licenses Valid in the State of Georgia.
