Assist the Program Leaders in the coordination and leadership of summer playground program activities. Maintain a safe environment for all activities.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist program leader in the planning of weekly activities.Provide leadership and aide in the implementation of playground activities.Assist in the motivation of self and participants toward producing a quality active, enthusiastic and rewarding program.To assist in supervision and implementation of scheduled special events.Participate in and attend all staff meetingsMaintain a safe environment for all activities.Make recommendations for needed supplies and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
This is a seasonal position. Rate of pay dependent on qualifications.Schedule: Early June - Mid August , Monday - Friday, mainly 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. On occasion you may need to work until 4:00 p.m.You will need to work both day and evening hours on July 4th.Accepting applications until position are filled.Offer of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
