Under the supervision of the Assistant Director and Swimming Pool Management, assists the public in the safe use of City aquatic facilities, responsible for the handling of cash from entry fees and concessions. Overall cleanliness and look of the water park and assist with various water park programs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Represent the Parks and Recreation Department by maintaining a professional attitudeAttend all scheduled staff meetingsCollects pool fees and other payments made to the pool.Maintains list of pool passes and locker rentals.Receives telephone calls and citizen visits concerning the swimming pool; handles questions; and responds to citizen's complaints.Operate concession area giving exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate reportsPerforms routine cleaning of facility, including bathrooms and concession area.Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your trainingCommunicate any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to managementAssist instructor with swim lessons.Perform the assigned duties of cashier, including administering first aid.Assist in pool programs and activities.Assist in enforcing rules and regulations of safety and conduct.Assist in keeping the pool area, restrooms and deck clean and free of litter.Perform other duties as required.
