Under the supervision of the Assistant Director and Swimming Pool Management, assists the public in the safe use of City aquatic facilities, responsible for the overall cleanliness and look of the water park and assist with various aquatics programs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Essential Functions and Duties: Prepare lesson plans, keep daily attendance records, and progress reports for each student. Provide competent, safe instruction Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement Effectively organize class time for maximum practice Promote good public relations by talking with parents before and after class Assist in pool programs and activities if needed Assist in enforcing rules and regulations of safety and conduct Perform other duties as required
