What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food & Beverage Worker - Seasonal (Parks) position at City of Arlington?
SALARY:
$5.75 per hour plus tips

THIS POSITION IS HIRED IN THE GOLF DIVISION OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operate commercial food and beverage preparation equipment (on the job training provided)
- Prepare food and beverage items to sell and serve customers
- Operate a point-of-sale system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
- Provide quality customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of food service area, dining area, and equipment
- Ensure food quality and equipment is up to health codes
- Balance a cash drawer
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Permit and TABC permit.
- Prior experience in food preparation in a retail outlet preferred.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING:
