General Description and Classification Standards
The Financial Analyst Sr.- is responsible for the preparation of the monthly and quarterly Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) reports and reviews the PFC expenditures to ensure that budgetary goals are met. This position ensures appropriate documentation of airport funding plans remain consistent with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory and guidance requirements. In addition, this position will prepare the monthly Budgetary Checkbook related to capital project program for senior capital finance team, run and prepare PnG Resources Status reports on monthly basis and completes the annual PFC Status Report. Responsibilities will include the input of Budgetary items as needed into City financial system for Capital Finance team within the City's PnG module and input the annual budget for Airport Capital Finance and Debt team.

Works under general supervision. Depending on organization structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program.

- Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control.
- Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
- Carries out assignments that are typically straightforward in nature.
- Collaborates with senior peers on projects.
- Participates in portions of PFC applications and amendments.
- Participates in gathering documentation for PFC annual audit process.
- Assists with Capital Finance / Debt budget entries.
