The City of Auburn is looking to fill a Records Clerk position in our Legal Department. Records Clerks are responsible for complex public disclosure requests in compliance with the Public Records Act, serve as the front reception for the City Clerk's Office, perform clerical work in support of the Office of the City Clerk with emphasis on City records and historical municipal data and records.
Working in the City Clerk's Office will provide you with a chance to work closely with City leaders and community members, and allows you to play a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficient operations within local government. Minimum Qualifications

The employee may be required, upon management discretion, to possess a Notary Public License issued by the State of Washington.
The employee will be required to possess the ability to obtain a US Passport acceptance certification and maintain annual recertification, upon management discretion.
Ability to pass a thorough background check and pass Criminal Justice Information System Security and Awareness Training.
