To be eligible for this internship position, you must:
You may be required to obtain a King County Public Health Department Food Handler's Permit within one (1) month of employment as a condition of work.
We are asking for a commitment through our 10-week program, fromJune 16th - August 22nd, 2025.Preference will be given to candidates that are available to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the program.If you are a top candidate, your availability and assigned schedule will be discussed with you before moving into the background check process.

The pay rates for this position will be offered as follows
Freshman & Sophomores: Step 1 - $19.42
Juniors & Seniors: Step 2 - $20.95
Postgraduates: Step 3 - $22.48

In This Role, You Will
- Assist the recreation division in planning and running summer camps
- Gain hands-on experience in program coordination
- Contribute to both large and small-scale events
- Learn about program development and implementation
- Learning how to implement recreation programs
- Understanding large- and small-scaleevent planning and implementation
- Learning about history and educationprogram management
- Learning about grant reporting
- Understanding program and event budgets
To be eligible for this internship position, you must:
- Have ahigh school diplomaor equivalent; AND
- Beenrolled in a Recreation or related field degree program(Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's); AND
- Possess and retain a valid state driver's licensewithout impending loss.
