Job Summary:
The Personal Trainer will provide clients with professional, personalized health and fitness instruction. All applicants must hold an approved personal training certification (ACSM, ACE, NSCA, or NASM preferred) and/or a health related degree and experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide clients with professional health and fitness information and instruction.
- Communicate effectively with Fitness Manager and other staff.
- Role model the City of Ballwin Parks and Recreation policies, procedures, and mission statement
- Enforcement of facility and fitness area policies
- Assist in keeping the fitness area and storage clean and organized
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Maintain a professional attitude toward clients and fellow staff
- Work effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the public
- Ability to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations
Education, Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Hold a Personal Training certification (ACSM, ACE, NSCA, or NASM preferred) and/or a degree in a health related field
- Prior work experience as a Personal Trainer preferred
- Current CPR certification
Job Pay Range:
- $28-$34/hr-PT Single Training
- $32-$38/hr-PT Group Training
- $14/hr-Floor Time
Salary : $28 - $34
