Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Room Attendant to join our team at our brand-new facility in Reston Town Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our canine guests. This role requires a strong understanding of dog care and handling, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. The Room Attendant will play a vital role in maintaining the overall health and happiness of the dogs in our care.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize animal play areas, ensuring they are safe and comfortable for all guests.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to Management.
- Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, watering, and light grooming tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of both animals and staff.
- Engage with pet owners during drop-off and pick-up times, providing updates on their pets’ well-being.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred.
- Familiarity with kennel operations or dog training techniques is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and pet owners.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing excellent care.
