Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
MUST ALL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification: Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred within six months of hire.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
- Skills:
o Strong mathematical skills for inventory and record-keeping.
o Ability to operate pharmacy software and automated systems.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
o Knowledge of insurance processing and prescription billing preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour
