The Account Clerk II position requires a thorough knowledge of cash handling and/or banking procedures, with a working knowledge of standard bookkeeping principles and practices. Working knowledge of applicable state statutes pertaining to elections, vital records, dog licensing and business licensing a plus!
Some of the duties of this position include processing vehicle registrations, issuing vital records, bus passes, hunting, fishing and dog licenses, registering new businesses, performing research for genealogy and other city records, verifying tax information, reconciling real estate payments, personal property and tax liens. Pay range: $20.16 to $27.08 per hour (based on 37.5-hour work week, scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm).
