GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of an employee of a higher classification, performs responsible inventory and clerical work that may include minor supervisory work. Work involves filing, typing, ordering and receiving of a wide variety of commodities, and automotive parts and other equipment. The primary emphasis in this class is the level of complex clerical duties involved in daily activities. Incumbents work within prescribed guidelines but have the authority to make independent decisions in performing the work. Supervision may be exercised over lower level employees. Work is assigned orally and is reviewed through personal observation and for results obtained. Performs other work as requested. Note : Some employees within this classification are hired on a part-time basis and paid at an hourly rate.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent certificate of competency, and two years of work experience as a stock clerk.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
