Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions: Performs skills tasks involved in the fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of traffic control devices, including traffic signs, pavement marking, and/or freeway lighting; maintains and services all sign equipment, vehicles and work areas; operates power tools including jack hammers, pipe wrenches, mauls, and/or saws.

Working Conditions
Minimum Essential Qualifications
Knowledge: Some knowledge of traffic signs, pavement markings, and/or construction work zones including fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair.
Skills/Abilities: Skilled in the use of light to medium power equipment and small hand tools as listed above; ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time and during unfavorable weather conditions.
Physical Requirements: Constantly sees and hears; frequently lifts, drags, pulls, pushes and crawls; may work in heights up to 35 feet.
Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required.
