Job Title: Paramedic/Firefighter

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic/Firefighter to join our team. As a Paramedic EMS professional with firefighting responsibilities, you will respond to medical and fire suppression emergencies in our vibrant community.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical and fire suppression situations
- Perform duties as a skilled Paramedic, providing high-quality patient care and transportation
- Participate in firefighting activities, including fire suppression and rescue operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Maine EMT Paramedic License required
- State of Maine Class C Operator's License required
- Fire or EMS-related Associate degree preferred
- CDL and State of Maine Firefighter I/II with SCBA certification preferred
- AEMT license with intention to obtain Paramedic qualification within a reasonable period encouraged
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with rotating 24-hour shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The schedule includes 24 hours on-duty, followed by 48 hours off, then 24 hours on-duty, and finally 96 hours off.
