The City of Belgrade Montana is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty mechanical equipment, including trucks, equipment attachments, and other specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using City-provided tools and equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of equipment and tools by cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining them after use.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years' experience in heavy-duty mechanical equipment maintenance.
- A valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL.
