What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Civil Engineer position at City of Berkeley?
A typical way of gaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position is:
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in civil engineering and two (2) years of professional civil engineering experience in design and construction work at a level equivalent to the City of Berkeley Junior Public Works Engineer classification.
Other requirements include:
- Possession of a California State Certification of Registration as a Professional Engineer
- Possession of a valid California driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
