What We're Looking For : The City of Beverly Hills is seeking an outstanding Librarian II. The position will work in the Adult Reference Department and will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and high quality reference and readers' advisory in-person, by phone, and while roaming and moving about the library frequently. The position will also be responsible for providing reference support, some collection development, research, and other duties as assigned. The incumbent will be the liaison for the Teen Advisory Committee (T.A.C.) and work extensively with teens and help develop programming that is focused on teens.
Incumbents must be knowledgeable of Library online resources and databases, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Incumbents must be flexible to work in all services of the library though they will have dedicated assignments. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, team oriented, customer focused and tech savvy. This position reports directly to the Librarian III.

Schedule and Hours :
All work will performed on-site, 5 days a week. This is a non-teleworking position. Additionally, incumbents will be assigned to work one evening shift per week.
