Position Overview
Salary Range: $14.50 - $16.50/hour
4 Positions
Work Schedule: Sport Camps are Monday through Thursday randomly throughout the summer. Hours may vary each week depending on a specific sport. Typical schedule is 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the latest camp (Soccer) ending at 2:30 p.m. Sport camps include: basketball, volleyball, soccer, and flag football. Other seasonal/part-time work may be available June 3, 2025 - August 30, 2025.

Position Overview: As a Sport Camp Counselor, you’ll assist in running our Summer Sports Camps, including Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Flag Football, and more. Working alongside the Summer Sports Camp & Facilities Intern, you’ll play a key role in creating and implementing sport-specific curriculums for a variety of age groups.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Some knowledge of sports (one or more of the following: basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football) and a desire to share your passion with kids.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to create a positive and safe environment for children.
- Experience working with kids is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with operating Summer Sports Camps and other programs like Rec2U and our 3 main summer camps.
- Develop and teach sport-specific curriculums for various age groups.
- Engage with kids in a fun, safe, and educational environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- CPR/First Aid American Red Cross Certification, Training provided if necessary
