The City of Birmingham is seeking an energetic, organized and dependable full-time Police Officer. Under supervision of the Commander, dispatches police, fire, emergency and medical units; answers incoming 911 lines, other emergency calls, and police non-emergency lines; operates computer-aided dispatch equipment; and monitors and coordinates police, fire, emergency and medical unit activity and assignments via radio frequencies.
The role of Police Officer is expected to provide citizens with quick, efficient and courteous service. Duties will also include operation of CLEMIS and the Law Enforcement Information Network, and completion of other related duties as directed.
Salary : $29 - $39
