Job Description
This is a part time seasonal position for the period of May through September (approximately). Duties include inspections, cleaning, painting, mowing, weed-eating, and light maintenance as assigned and the documentation of work performed through a computer software program.
Typical Hours/Days: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Hours and days vary depending on weather conditions.
Job Type: Seasonal: April through September (weather dependent)
Hours per week: 40 (weather dependent)
Examples of Duties
1. Inspection and cleaning, painting and maintenance of fire hydrants.
2. Inspection and cleaning of storm water inlets.
3. Miscellaneous cleaning, painting, and light repair work at pumping stations.
4. Mowing and weed-eating.
5. Documenting work performed and reporting of follow-up repairs that are required through a computer software program.
6. Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read and write. Must have the ability to do considerable walking, heavy lifting, reaching, bending and have average sense of sight and hearing.
Must have a valid North Dakota driver’s license. Must be at least 17 years of age.
