The City of Blair, NE is looking for a visionary and community-focused Library Director to lead the Blair Public Library and Technology Center! What You'll Do :

Lead the daily operations of the Blair Public Library and Technology Center, ensuring exceptional service and innovative programming.
Plan, organize, and oversee library services, budgets, and staff development to meet community needs.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic objectives in collaboration with the Library Board.
Engage the community by promoting library programs and fostering partnerships with external organizations like the Friends of the Library and Blair Public Library Foundation.
Ensure effective maintenance of library facilities and manage library materials and resources.

What You Bring :

Education : A bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field is required. A master's degree in Library Science is highly preferred.

Experience : At least 7 years of experience as a librarian and 3 years in a supervisory role are required.

Certification : Nebraska Librarian Certification Level 3 or higher is required within one year of hire.

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to inspire and guide a collaborative library environment.
