Assists parking patrons and performs cleaning and security duties.

Essential (primary)
Responds to customer questions and concerns, as necessary.
Maintains the cleanliness of the garages, which includes the following duties: sweeps, mops, removes trash, removes snow, and cleans equipment.
Counts vehicles and records counts.
Follows directions to properly open and close assigned garage.
Fixes malfunctions with pay station, gate box, card access, roll gate, feed and ticket spitters, when necessary and possible.
Monitors the garage and reports any security or maintenance concerns to the Parking Garage Manager.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
A minimum of one year experience working in custodial and customer services is preferred.
Ability to do basic maintenance and/or repairs on parking garage equipment.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Difficulty of Work and Personal Work Relationship
Incumbent performs duties both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Incumbent performs duties which include cleaning and light maintenance tasks, which may require lifting up to 20 pounds. Light snow removal is required during the snow season.
Incumbent establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including customers, co-workers, City and other government officials, community groups, and the general public.
