Duties:
Directs Fire personnel and operations that include fire suppression, prevention, training and administration. Participates in labor relations. Develops and administers standard operating policies and procedures. Supervises and participates in the development and administration of the department budget. Responds to major fire alarms. Directs fire suppression activities as necessary. Oversees the development and implementation of fire related codes and ordinances. Maintains knowledge of trends and innovations in the field of fire prevention, suppression, and operations. Represent the City in the community. Identify and respond to community issues, concerns, and needs.
