BALLFIELD MAINTENANCE LABORER II – TWIN LAKES SPORTS PARK/Winslow Sports Complex/Olcott Park
SEASONAL
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Performs day to day maintenance of ballfields including watering, mowing, dragging and lining, trash removal, restroom cleaning and other duties as assigned by the Working Foreman, Full-time laborer at Winslow, and/or Sports Facility/Program Manager.
EDUCATION:
High School education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Experience with grounds maintenance and experience with maintenance equipment (I.e. tractors and mowers) preferred but not required. Painting experience is preferred, but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be a self-starter and the desire to learn new skills. He or she will also have the ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Applicant must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Indiana Driver’s License.
HOURS:
Flexible schedule: 7a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday with evenings and weekends as required. The work week will average 30-36 hours, weather dependent, April thru October.
SALARY RANGE:
$16.42 - $16.62 per hour.
