FIELD SUPERVISOR – TWIN LAKES SPORTS PARK/WINSLOW/OLCOTT PARK
SEASONAL PART TIME
4-6 Positions
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Supervise programs, personnel, spectators and use of facility. Enforce departmental policies; prepare reports; do periodic trash pick up and restroom sanitation; request supplies and report maintenance problems to Sports Coordinator/Facility Manager; provide assistance to any injured spectator or participant; serve as an information and public relations resource for the Parks and Recreation Department; submit accurate bi-weekly payroll; other duties as required.
EDUCATION:
High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Ability to work well with people; ability to think quickly and exercise good judgment; must be self-motivated. Some experience supervising recreation programs and facilities desired.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Successful completion of CPR and first aid certification required. Training available through Parks and Recreation Department if needed.
HOURS:
10-20 hours per week, weekdays, 4:30-11:00 p.m. and weekends 8:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. March through October.
SALARY:
$16.42 - $16.62 per hour.
