JOB OPPORTUNITY
Temporary Part Time – FITNESS SUPERVISOR -Health and Wellness
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the implementation of health and wellness programming in the community including, but not limited to, fitness classes and community wellness education. Supervise program operations while interpreting and enforcing rules and polices. Maintains positive interaction with the public under the general direction of a full-time staff member.
EDUCATION:
High School education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE / SPECIAL SKILLS:
Incumbents must possess working knowledge of health and wellness topics and strong public relations, communication and organizational skills. Must be creative, resourceful and flexible; must be self-motivated, energetic and patient.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:
CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain, valid driver's license required.
HOURS:
Part-time hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. 4-8 hours per week throughout the year. Additional hours may be available throughout the year. Must be able to work flexible hours.
SALARY:
$16.42 per hour.
