A WaterShed Action Team member plans and facilitates environmental education activities for summer youth and family programs at the newly remodeled WaterShed Education Center. You will use exhibits, art, and programs to teach people of all ages how to protect and conserve resources. This position works under general supervision and is designated as At-Will.Collaborates, plans, and teaches water and STEM educational activities for visitors at The WaterShed Education Center during WaterShed Wednesday events and other lessons and outreach. Works with the WaterShed Education Coordinator Lead and education staff on program development and implementation. Participates in team-building and environmental stewardship activities as scheduled.

Physical Efforts
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds and rarely lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds. Also, the employee is occasionally pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds and rarely pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds. The noise level is rarely moderate. Work includes sensory ability to talk, hear, smell, and touch. Work in this position also includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Employees will stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and grasp. Position requires hand/finger dexterity.
Working Environment
The work environment will include inside conditions and outdoor weather conditions.

- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Interest in water or the environment and working with children.
- deal with individuals in a friendly and tactful manner;

- understand and comply with all rules, policies, and regulations;
- maintain prompt and regular attendance;

- perform all essential functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor, and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 1 year of experience working with youth from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
- First Aid and CPR Certification.
