Position Description
The City of Bothell's Employee and Technology Services Department (HR Division) is seeking a Safety and Claims Coordinator to manage workers' compensation claims, evaluate reports, ensure compliance, and support safety training.
This is a part-time position and will be paid at an hourly rate averaging 20 hours per week, as indicated above.
What will you do in this position?
- Coordinate the City's workers' compensation program, ensuring claims follow L&I guidelines, while monitoring and analyzing claim data.
- Communicate with employees, medical providers, and management on claims; coordinates with physicians on light duty offers and capabilities.
- Assist with onboarding new employees in safety programs, tracks progress and follows up on expired or incomplete trainings.
- Analyze claim data, provide recommendations on claims management, and coordinate information for audits.
