Job Description Summary:
OVERVIEW OF ROLE (Golf Services Attendant)As a member of the Flatirons GC operations team, the Golf Instructor-Golf Services Attendant is responsible for assisting with all facets of our dynamic and exciting golf course operation including tee times, course play, tournaments and outings, merchandising, practice range and golf car upkeep, etc. Successful candidates will also be assisting with the junior golf programs, growth of the game initiatives, as well as club fitting and general club repair. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction for the guests of Flatirons GC.

GOLF SERVICES ATTENDANT
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Golf Services Attendant)
- Cashier functions, register players, schedule starting times, coordinate daily play, and provide facility information.
- Organize, clean, and maintain fleet of carts for players and marshals. Maintain driving range, by driving ball picker and hand-picking range balls.
- Operate, clean and maintain ball machine. Assist with other maintenance items in the Pro Shop and Cart Garage, as well as items on the golf course.
- Performs customer relations role which may include interacting with players, parents, participants, business or program partners, and/or city staff to provide information and solve problems.
- Assist with supervision of participants in the Jr. Golf program.
- May perform general golf pro area/driving range maintenance duties, such as cleaning pro shop operations areas and restrooms, collecting, cleaning and preparing range balls.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS (Golf Services Attendant)
- Ability to lift 40lbs up to 50 times in a six-hour period.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills: including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse people in an organizational context.
- Have and maintain acceptable background information, including criminal conviction history.
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to maintain an acceptable motor vehicle background.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Golf Services Attendant)
- Previous cashier/cash handling experience.
- Previous customer service experience at a public facility.
- Previous golf playing experience.
- Previous experience with Club Prophet POS system.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
No education or experience is required for this role.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS (Golf Services Attendant)
Physical and Mental Effort:
Primarily sedentary physical work requiring the ability to lift a maximum of 10 pounds; occasional lifting and carrying; frequent walking and standing. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities that permits the employee to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person. Sufficient vision or other powers of observation that permits the employee to review, evaluate and prepare a variety of written documents and materials. Sufficient manual dexterity that permits the employee to operate computer equipment and other office equipment. Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits the employee to work in an office setting. Work may include extended periods of time viewing a computer video monitor and/ or operating a keyboard. Ability to work under stress from demanding deadlines, public contact, and changing priorities and conditions.
Work Environment:
Works primarily in a clean, comfortable, indoor environment. Works in a setting subject to continuous interruptions and background noises.
Machines and equipment used:
Used Uses cash register, adding machine, camera, washer, and dryer. Also uses standard office equipment including personal computers, typewriters, calculators and copy/fax machines daily.
