Job Title: GOLF COURSE CASHIER
Department/Location: Public Works and Utilities /Golf Course
Supervision Exercised: None
Supervision Received: Reports directly to Golf Course Manager or assigned representative.
General Purpose of the Position: This position is responsible for collection of fees associated with golf course and snack bar operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Collect monies.
· Clean clubhouse.
· Stock inventory.
· Deposit funds in bank.
Skills and Physical Abilities Required:
· General knowledge of golf course clubhouse operations.
· Ability to operate a cash register, maintain records, and handle money properly including daily balancing.
· Must be well skilled in customer relations and able to work well with fellow employees in a close environment.
· Indoors, working closely with others.
· This position requires constant standing with frequent walking and bending. Occasional climbing, pushing, stooping, and driving. Very frequent light lifting and carrying less than fifteen (15) pounds with occasional moderate lifting and carrying of less than forty-five (45) pounds. Occasional use of ladders and contact with cleaning solutions.
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements: Proficiency in computer software and the ability to adapt to other software programs with ease.
Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Six (6) months of related work experience.Possession of and ability to maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
