The City of Brentwood Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and professional individual to join our Special Events team. This role focuses on overseeing large external events on the day of the event and assisting with overall event operations. Saturday availability is required. This is a part-time or limited service position, and candidates must possess a valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification at time of hire, and must be maintained throughout employment.

Experience

- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade.
- One (1) year of customer service experience or one (1) year of experience performing work comparable to a Recreation Leader I with the City of Brentwood.
- Possession of a valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification, at time of hire, to be maintained throughout employment.

- Department Interview - Applicants possessing these requirements may be invited to interview with the Parks and Recreation Department. The interview will cover elements of the knowledge and abilities identified in the job description.
