Do you enjoy helping people, organizing information, and working in a dynamic community space? We’re looking for a friendly, tech-savvy Library Aide to support our library services and help make every visitor's experience a great one.

What You’ll Do

As a Library Aide, you’ll play a vital role in our day-to-day operations:

• Provide warm, helpful service to all library visitors.
• Assist patrons in finding materials, using computers and devices, and accessing library resources.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, and payments using specialized library software.
• Maintain the accuracy and order of library collections by shelving and caring for materials.
• Stay informed on library programs and services to guide patrons effectively.
• Participate in training and team activities to grow your knowledge and support our mission.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Basic computer and tech troubleshooting knowledge.
• Great attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
• Comfort with physical activity—standing, bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and shelving.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and patience in a busy public environment.

Helpful Experience

• Customer service in a library or public-facing role.
• Familiarity with library operations or public service software.
• Ability to alphabetize, sort numerically, and maintain accurate records.
