Collect daily admissions, issue memberships and sell concession products.Operate a point-of-sale system and calculator.Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of patrons.Perform customer service duties such as greeting patrons and providing facility rules and regulations.Telephone etiquette and proper usage of the intercom system.Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at the front desk and concession areas.Attend all mandatory in-service trainings and meetings.Other duties and tasks as assigned.Physical Demands / Work Environment (Essential Function)
Cashiers often spend a significant amount of time on their feet while assisting customers and staff. This may involve standing or walking for extended periods.There may be a need to lift and carry equipment, supplies, or materials used at the front desk and / or concession stand. This may include items such as water bottles, cleaning supplies, chairs, and office supplies. The weight lifted can range from light to moderate, depending on the specific tasks and equipment involved.There may be a need to bend, stoop, or reach to perform various tasks, such as picking up boxes, supplies, and concession products.Working environment may involve exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or wind. Outdoor duties may involve walking on uneven terrain or navigating obstacles.Interacting with participants and providing guidance or instruction may require good communication skills, including speaking clearly and listening attentively. This aspect of the role may not be physically demanding but requires sustained mental and emotional engagement.Mental Complexity / Interpersonal Contacts (Essential Function)
