STATEMENT OF THE JOB
This position will assist with all types of duties at the Animal Shelter and make a difference in our community and those that live in it! The employed will participate in the daily operations of the animal shelter including animal cage / kennel cleaning, maintenance, record keeping, licenses, basic animal grooming, disinfecting all animal areas / items, feeding, dishes, animal handling, office support, laundry, adoptions on and off site, events and fundraisers, and possibly assisting in euthanasia.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / LICENSING & TRAINING
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or GED, and any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the functions of the position. Wear required uniform and be required to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

The employee is required to work flexible shifts that include evenings, weekends and holidays. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, and moderate to loud when in the kennel.
