PRIMARY DUTY:
This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. Primary duties include conducting routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems, with an emphasis on HVAC and mechanical systems or other specialty trade area. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to keep a clean, safe, and efficient facility environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in commercial specialty repairs.
- Two or more years of HVAC experience preferred.
- Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:
- Valid Texas Class "C" Drivers License with good driving record.
- Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC Class B License (or other relevant specialty license in a skilled trade related to construction and/or building maintenance/repair).
