The City of Caldwell is seeking a Custodian to join our Team!
The City of Caldwell has an opening for a Custodian with the Facilities Department. Individual performs a variety of physical tasks to ensure proper cleaning and routine maintenance of City facilities. The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform facility maintenance and cleaning functions. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Facility and Maintenance Supervisor. Performs other related work as required.
Education, Training, and Experience Required:
- High school graduate or GED certified; and
- One year of experience performing maintenance or custodial related duties; or
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform work.
Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements:
- Must possess a valid and current driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, drug test, and physical.
- Must be able to obtain bonding approval from the city's insurance provider.
- Ability to work on call, after hours, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.
