What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Exercise Fitness Instructor (Part-Time) position at City of Campbell?
The City of Campbell Recreation and Community Services Department is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, experienced, and certified Group Exercise Fitness Instructor with experience teaching Spin, Body Sculpt, Boot Camps, Strength Training, or other related classes at the Campbell Community Center for weekday evening classes. Overall enrollment will determine hours worked and could expand if program grows or reduce if enrollment falls short.Under direct supervision of the Fitness Coordinator, is responsible for group instruction of group exercise fitness classes, utilizing group exercise knowledge, techniques, and experience; interact professionally and communicate effectively with participants and general public; adhere to class structural guidelines and time schedules; maintain patron safety in and around Campbell Community Center facilities.; comply and enforce all City of Campbell and Campbell Recreation and Community

- Minimum age at time of hire is 18 years old.
- Professional certification(s) and experience.
- Valid California Driver’s license.
- Must be certified by a nationally recognized certification organization such as A.C.E., A.F.A.A., or A.C.S.M., or SCW.
- Current CPR certification
- Fingerprint clearance (Department of Justice background check.) The City of Campbell will schedule fingerprint appointment and encumber cost upon hire.
