SUMMARY:
Work in the snack bar/grill and outside beverage cart. 20 to 29 hour work week.
Essential Job Functions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for completing daily duties given by the Director of Golf or Snack Bar supervisor, including but not limited to: preparing and serving food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to customers, serving food and drinks to customers from outside beverage cart, extensive daily cleaning of the kitchen, dining area, stock room and beverage cart, daily stocking of food and beverages, handling and dispensing of cash, able to work debit/credit card machine, keeping track of inventory, serving food and drinks to employees, etc.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older. Knowledge of the game of golf and golf course etiquette a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS - TABC Certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High school diploma or GED required.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to recognize problems and report those to the supervisor. Must be able to do simple math, able to dispense correct change to customers and be able to balance cash drawer.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers. Must be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and concerns to supervisors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to work with the public and have a friendly attitude with customers. Must be able to work as a team member, be at work promptly every shift, work weekends and holidays.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds.
