- Provides technical and managerial support to the design, project management and inspection staff responsible for the City's transportation. stormwater, utilities extensions and miscellaneous capital improvements.
- Prepares designs, cost estimates, scheduling, budget reports, permitting, and technical specifications. Prepares the operating and capital budgets for the division.
- Manages projects, maintains close liaison and interacts daily with design consultants, surveyors, engineers, City administration, architects, contractors and inspectors.
- Assists Development Services Department with the plan review and inspection of the site infrastructure of private development projects to ensure compliance with applicable City regulations.
- Coordinates with other local and state agencies relating to transportation, stormwater, utilities extensions and miscellaneous capital improvements.
- Responds to inquiries from the public, resolves problems and represents the City at public meetings as required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
