What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Soccer Official position at City of Cape Girardeau?
General Definiton of Work
Position responsible for officiating of youth and adult soccer leagues and tournaments offered by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department up to and including:
- Adult Indoor Soccer League
- Girls & Boys Youth Soccer Leagues
- Girls & Boys Youth Soccer Tournaments
Essential Functions
- Be at assigned game sites at least fifteen minutes before scheduled game time.
- Conduct all pre and post-game duties (meet team captains/coaches, rule interpretations, game summary sheets).
- Officiate games and enforce the rules of the game.
- Ensure the safety of all participants.
- Secure hazardous-free playing area.
- Conduct yourself in a respectful, confident, and secure manner.
