The City of Carson is seeking eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Aquatics Program Supervisor. Applicants must numerous certificates (see required documents sections for a full list) , and have paid experience in aquatics programs. Also, the ideal candidate must be customer orientated (as this position interacts heavily with the general public), communicate effectively with others, and complete assigned tasks independently.
Job Summary :
Under supervision of the Aquatics Program Supervisor, assists in the supervision of the operation of the City of Carson community swimming pools and aquatic centers.

Varies between : Monday-Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM & Saturday-Sunday, 7 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (Depends on Facility Needs)

QUALIFICATIONS
A typical way to obtain the requisite qualifications to perform the duties of this class is as follows :
Education and / or Experience :
Associates Degree and approximately three (3) seasons of paid experience in aquatics. Experience and / or education in a related field may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Knowledge of :
License and / or Certificates :
Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Employees in this classification will be enrolled in the Department of Motor vehicles (DMV) Government Employer Pull Notice program, which confirms possession of a valid driver's license and reflects the driving record.
Possession of the following requirements-
Water Safety Instructor Trainer Certificate is desirable.
