GENERAL PURPOSE: Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled general labor to assist with the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the water reclamation facility, wastewater collection system, and water distribution systems.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

High School diploma or GED equivalent, and one (1) year related work experience.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid Arizona Commercial Driver’s License may be required for certain positions. Special technical certifications may be required for some work assignments.Necessary Knowledge and Skills:

- Performs semi-skilled labor in the maintenance, construction, repair and upkeep of the water reclamation facility, wastewater collections system, and water distribution system.
- Performs skilled and semiskilled construction, maintenance and manual labor work.
- Assists with the removal and install, repair and upkeep, and configuration of pumps, motors, and a variety of equipment at the water reclamation facility, wastewater collections systems, and water distribution system.
- Performs routine maintenance and custodial duties; picks up debris, paints facilities, structures and equipment, and makes minor and major maintenance repairs.
- Assists with the installation and maintenance of pumps, motors, and a variety equipment used at the water reclamation facility, wastewater collections system, and water distribution system.
- Inspects, cleans and performs routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems requiring additional repair.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
