Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center team as an Event Lead. Under the direction of the Recreation Center Event Coordinator, the purpose of the Event Lead position is to assist with all rentals and reservation contracts in the Recreation Center, including event setups, break downs and working most weekend rentals. This position will assist with the coordination all aspects of marketing to promote and increase rental usage at the Recreation Center. This position will function as a building supervisor, as needed, assisting with rentals and activities in other areas of the building.This position is scheduled to work Tuesday- Saturday (mornings/evenings), rotating Sundays, holidays and special events, as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provides premier customer service to internal and external customers by responding to requests in a timely and professional manner. Plans and promotes a variety of rentals, and assists with drafting weekly rental schedule.Serve as an opening or closing manager on duty when needed.Assist reservation contracts, take payments for reservations, setup and break down of rooms.Assists the Event Coordinator with the coordination of special events and programs at the Recreation Center.Provides information to the public about all parks and recreation facilities; specifically focusing on the recreation facility rentals.Responsible for repairs and cleanliness of the Recreation Center by inspecting and reporting areas in need of attention. Develop relationships with corporate businesses and the general public to increase rental utilization through various mediums including tradeshows.Successfully achieve set monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue goals established by the Recreation Center ManagerRegular attendance required. Includes: Opening, closing, weekends, rotating shifts, special events, and holidays if needed.Other duties as assigned.
