The City of Cedar Park is currently accepting applications for those interest in taking the Civil Service Exam for Entry-level Firefighter. The Firefighter performs duties, both in emergency and non-emergency situations, related to fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), hazardous materials response, and emergency management delivery.Examination Information: Date: Thursday, June 30, 2025Time: 9:00 A.M. CSTLocation: Cedar Park Recreation Center Community Rooms- Park in Back of Building 1435 Main Street Cedar Park, TX 78613The eligibility list established through this testing will be effective for twelve (12) months from the date of the test or until the list is exhausted, whichever comes first.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Candidates interested in taking the Civil Service Entry-Level Firefighter Examination must complete an online application by Thursday, June 6, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. CST. While completing the online application, candidates must also attach the following documents. Please DO NOT attach any additional documents other than these listed below: Copy of Valid Driver's License.Copy of High School Diploma, official High School transcript or Equivalency Certificate (G.E.D.) certified by the Issuing Agency (i.e. TEA).
