Under general supervision; works independently and part of a work group.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Edges, rototills, rakes, plants, waters, mulches and weeds ornamental beds;
- Removes and hauls trash and reports as to the general condition of the assigned park area;
- Performs Greenhouse maintenance: watering, pruning, clipping, transplanting, potting, mixing soil, loading and moving plants of all sizes;
- Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with City policies, procedures and safety practices;
- Attends work regularly at the designated place and time;
- Supports continuous process improvement initiatives;
- Performs related work as required.
Acceptable Experience and Training
- Experience in general labor, grounds maintenance, operation of tractors, mowers and related power tools.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred.
Work Schedule
- Typically 6-8 hours every other weekend including some holidays. Hours vary based on needs.
