The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Recreation Specialist at Tumbleweed Recreation Center. The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and a driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. Applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.

Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED; and
- 2 years of experience in a youth recreation or adult activity program; and
- A First Aid/CPR Certification upon hire or promotion; and
- A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience working with the senior (55 ) population and the ability to interact effectively with the public
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Experience with recreation management and registration software
