SEASONAL LABORER - PUBLIC WORKS

Pay Rate (Hourly): $17.00 - $18.00
The City of Clayton Public Works Operations division is seeking applicants for the Seasonal Laborer to assist with various maintenance projects around the Clayton community. The Seasonal Laborer is responsible for assisting the Public Works Operations staff with performing general, unskilled manual labor under supervision.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Forestry Division in trimming trees and general grounds maintenance on the public right-of-way.
- Assist the Operations Division as needed with basic maintenance work on the public right-of-way.
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Must have a valid, state-issued drivers license.
- Must be capable of working required hours.
- Must be able to exert physical effort for extended periods of time while performing manual labor tasks in various, extreme weather conditions.
