Job Description
This position is responsible for receiving and dispatching routine and emergency information, as well as processing prisoners incarcerated at a facility. The individual in this role will be required to monitor telephones and radios, answer incoming calls, and gather necessary information to transmit or relay. Additionally, they will be responsible for dispatching police and other response vehicles for emergency responses, maintaining computer-aided dispatch logs, and keeping track of information such as traffic lights out and streets closed.
